Makes about 4-5 servings.

1 Lg Onion
1 medium jalapeño
1 lb of Hamburg
1 lb of steak tips
3 cans of diced tomatoes (3x 14.5 ounces) or 2 of the 28-ounce cans of diced tomatoes.
1 can of beer
2 packets of Olde el Paso chili seasoning
Seasonings: Garlic powder (1 tablespoon), Onion powder (1 tablespoon), Pepper (1 teaspoon), and salt to taste(Approximately ½ tablespoon). For more spice, add ½ tablespoon of Hungarian Paprika.
1 box of the elbow, or Ditalini pasta
Instructions:
Brown Hamburg on the stove at medium-high heat.
Dice up the onion and jalapeño, and add it to the meat mixture halfway through the meat browning. (For a spicier chili, leave the seeds and membrane in. For a milder chili, take the seeds and membrane out.)
Cut the steak tips into small cubes, and add to the browned Hamburg. Turn the heat down to medium-low.
Cook the cubes of steak tips for about 5 minutes, and then add the can of beer, spices, chili packets, and diced tomatoes.
Let simmer for 1 hour.
About 20 minutes before serving, boil a pot of water on medium-high, and cook pasta to al dente.
Serve the pasta with the chili, and enjoy.
