About  Me

Hey everyone! My name is Jillian DiLauro and I love food! I am a fiend for Italian cuisine and sweet things, even though I am what most people describe as a picky eater. Even so, food has always been a big part of my life; from learning to cook from my mom and from watching the cooking shows she always has on the television. I enjoy learning how to cook and bake new things that I may have never tried before, as well as the recipes I know and adore.  I love that no matter who you are you can always make a connection with people over food; so I started this blog to connect to all you wonderful people out there and share some pretty great restaurants and recipes I have found over the years. I also hope that this blog will allow me to take my culinary adventures to Italy and the better part of Europe, and share that with you all. Last year I went to my very first Food Truck Festival with my boyfriend and loved the variety of foods that I could try all in one field. However, food isn’t the only activity that has stolen my heart as I also enjoy writing stories and doing photography as well. Pictures are a great way to preserve memories of things, and writing has always been a big part of my life (I go more into that in my other blog) I hope you all venture with me into the world of food!
