If you are sick of having the same old recipes you’ve been having for weeks, look no further. These super easy and mouth-watering tacos are the perfect addition to your meal rotation. This recipe makes about 12 pretty packed tacos, and it’s easy on the wallet. To start, you need the spice blend for the taco meat.
Approximately 30 minutes to make.
The spices go as follows:
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tbsp Paprika
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Pepper
(You can always double the spice recipe, use half, and then have the other half prepped for the next time you make tacos)
Once you have the spice mix, you will need the following ingredients:
1 Lb of Hamburg
1 8oz can of Tomato Sauce
About 12-13 White corn tortilla shells (Smaller variety)
Now the instructions are pretty simple; it goes as follows:
1. Cook the Hamburg on medium-high heat until the meat is browned
2. Drain the excess fat into a disposable container, and add the full can of tomato sauce and the spice blend to the pan with the cooked meat.
3. Turn the heat to the lowest and leave on the heat for another 3-5 minutes.
4. In a separate frying pan heat about 2 tbsp of oil, on medium heat.
5. Place the tortilla in the pan and flip 2-3 times until it is lightly golden brown.
6. When it’s done, place it on the plate and fold it in half and repeat with the rest of the tortillas, adding oil as needed.
(If you wanted to use a pre-made taco shell, ignore steps 4-6)
I hope you enjoy!
