Delicious, and easy fall-themed dessert, perfect for Thanksgiving, or when you are craving just a bit of fall flavors. Growing up baked apples were a delicacy we all looked forward to having. It tastes like a mix between an apple pie and an apple crumble. It is sure to give you those fall vibes.

Makes 4 Baked Apples, and takes approximately 30 minutes.

The ingredients:

  • 4 Granny Smith Apples

  • 1 cup of Oats

  • 1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 packed Tbsp of Brown Sugar

  • 2 Tbsp Softened Butter

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

2. Wash and core apples almost but not all the way through.

3. In a separate bowl, mix oats, cinnamon, brown sugar, and softened butter until it is fully combined.

4. Fill the apples with the oat mixture and put it in the oven for about 20 minutes

(Pairs well with Vanilla Ice Cream)

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Hey everyone! My name is Jillian DiLauro and I love food! I am a fiend for Italian cuisine and sweet things, even though I am what most people describe as a picky eater. Even so, food has always been a big part of my life; from learning to cook from my mom and from watching the cooking shows she always has on the television.
